The 18th annual one-day national conference of the Dutch American Studies community, involving workshops and papers by undergraduates, graduates, and faculty, will this year be held at the University of Amsterdam on Friday 5 March.

The Obama Effect: Transatlantic Perspectives Past and Future
27-30 October 2010
The following plenary speakers have been confirmed: Prof. Scott Lucas (University of Birmingham, UK) and Prof. Marcel Wissenburg (Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands). A top-level NATO speaker has also been invited to headline the conference.
