The John Adams Institute (JAI) is running an essay contest – motivating participants to make non-fiction works with an academic foundation more accessible to the public.
The contest is open to all BA, MA, PhD students. Choose a captivating subject, making sure that the US plays an important role in the essay, and write between 2000 and 4000 words. If you wish to participate, send a motivation letter detailing the topic of your essay and your field of study by the 15th of June 2023. The submission deadline is the 15th of August. The essay must be in pdf-format and checked for plagiarism. The winner will be granted a John Adams educational grant of 500 euros and a John Adams Friends Membership valued at 1000 euros.
