Event: November 3rd and American Foreign Policy – Part II

After the successful program ‘November 3rd and American Foreign Policy’ also known as ‘US foreign policy in a new world order. What’s next after the Presidential election?’ with former NATO Ambassador and President of The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Ivo Daalder, we are delighted to invite you to the livestream of our second debate on the American Presidential Election. This livestream takes place on October 27. We are very proud to have Ambassador Nicholas Burns, foreign policy advisor to presidential candidate Joe Biden, as our keynote speaker.
Former top diplomat R. Nicholas Burns is currently Professor of the Practice of Diplomacy and International Politics at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. He previously served both Republican and Democratic Presidents, for instance, President George W. Bush as Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs and NATO Ambassador. Burns will share his views on the US’s domestic political turbulence, the current and future American role on the global stage and, the various post-election scenarios. This program will be moderated by Robert van de Roer, diplomatic expert.
The program will be streamed live on Youtube. The meeting starts at 16.00 hours (Central European Time) and will last for approximately one hour. It is possible to share your questions beforehand on the registration form. During the event it will not be possible to ask questions.
The deadline for registration for the program is October 26. However, if you would like to share your questions beforehand, you need to register not later than Thursday, October 22.
